What a weekend we had!  


The "God of Wonders" Celebration Weekend was a wonderful way to kick off the New Year and set the tone for great things to come in 2012.
 

Friday evening's class on "God's Wisdom, Power and Love" was a spot-on introduction to Saturday's "The Wonders of the Past and Hope of the Future" theme.  On Saturday we were all given a piece of paper on which we had to write down some personal "wonders of the past" i.e. miracles we've seen, as well as our hopes and dreams for the future.  Each person was then handed a balloon and had to tie this piece of paper to it.  What a magical moment to see these prayers of hope, dreams and gratitude be sent up to heaven! (see picture below)

On Sunday 29^th January we also celebrated the church's 21st Anniversary!
